Core Beliefs
The Bible
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
We believe the sixty-six books of the Bible (Canon) are the inerrant Word of God; penned by men but inspired by the Holy Spirit. Through the reading and meditation of God's Word, we gain hope (Romans 15:4), faith (Hebrews 10:17), prosperity, and success (Joshua 1:8). The Bible helps us journey in the right direction by being a lamp unto our feet and light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). The Bible contains the words of God which are alive and actively working in us (Hebrews 4:12). The unchanging truth of God's word is eternal, the same yesterday, today & forever (John 17:17, Isaiah 40:8). The Bible is perfect, dependable, and it is refreshing to our souls (Psalm 19:7-11)!

Salvation
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Salvation is a gift from God to any who believe in their heart and confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9) Because of sin, we are spiritually dead and face the penalty of eternal damnation. Salvation through Jesus Christ is necessary to live in eternity with God (Mark 16:16, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9). Salvation is not obtained through any works on our part - Jesus completed the work on the cross. Salvation is given to us who believe; it is granted to us through faith in Christ Jesus.

His Church
Ephesians 1:22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
The Church belongs to Jesus. All believers, through the saving grace of Jesus Christ, collectively make up the Church. Jesus Christ is the head of the Church and we make up the body. We, as the Church, represent the fullness of who Jesus Christ is and He has granted us to live and exercise in His authority, power, and dominion (Luke 9:1,10:19, Acts 1:8, Matthew 16:19).

Water Baptism
Mathew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Water baptism is an outward expression of what Jesus Christ has completed in our hearts. (Romans 6:4-5) Just as our sins have been washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ, we express this as we are immersed in water, burying our sins and dying to our old self. (Colossians 2:12) We rise from the water as a new creation, born again as a new man. (Ephesians 1:7) Jesus himself, set this requirement for all believers when He was baptized by John the Baptist (Mathew 3:13-17).

The Gifts of the Spirit
Ephesians 4:11-12 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.
We believe every Christian has been given a gift and a calling with the purpose to build up and equip His Church. These gifts and callings are not for ourselves, but to give out through the Holy Spirit's empowerment (Acts1:8). In addition to these, God has also given words of wisdom, words of knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, speaking in tongues, and the interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:8-10). All these gifts work in tandem as parts of the body of Christ, manifesting His Spirit for the common good (1 Corinthians 12:7) with the motivation of the love from and for the Heavenly Father (1 Corinthians 13).

Worship
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
We believe worship in song is a priority in the word of God and so it is with our relationship with God. While worship takes on many forms including our work, giving, time, etc. (Romans 12:1), we are instructed to specifically worship with music (Psalm 150:4).
Jesus said the Father is seeking those who would worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). Jesus is actively looking for worshipers who worship Him with the truth, pointing to the Word of God as our base or foundation that testifies of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and our risen Savior.
In tandem with the truth, scripture states He is also seeking those who will worship Him in spirit, speaking of the Holy Spirit working through our spirit (Romans 8:16). It is only through the Holy Spirit that we know God (1Corinthians 2:10-11, 12:3) and know how to worship and pray (Romans 8:26, John 14:26). The Holy Spirit works in seamless continuity with the Word of God, as the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth testifying about the truth (John 16:13, 1 John 5:6) thus bringing together the two elements of worship (spirit & truth) that Jesus teaches us in John 4.

Prayer
Colossians 4:2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
We believe prayer is a lifestyle of continually communicating with God. We believe that when we pray, God is listening and willing to answer as we believe (Mark 11:24). As we lay down our cares and anxieties with hearts of gratitude, God lifts the weight of us and delivers us from our fears (Philippians 4:6). The Holy Spirit helps us as we pray, as often times we may not know what to pray or we feel too overwhelmed with emotional weight to even know how to pinpoint our prayers (Romans 8:27). Through faith, prayer is powerfully effective and will move God’s heart. Jesus said mountains can be moved if asked in His name and we believe it so (James 5:16, Mark 11:23). Prayer is to be reverent and sincere (Mathew 6:5,9-13), coupled with humility but confident in Christ Jesus. He is our High Priest, connecting us to God while He Himself is also praying for us at the right hand of the Father (Hebrews 4:16, Romans 8:34)!

Triune God
Mathew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
We believe there is one God but three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is our heavenly Father and from Him, all things originate and exist (1 Corinthians 8:6). Jesus Christ is God’s Son and is also referred to as God in the flesh (Isaiah 9:6). He embodies the Deity in human form or flesh (Colossians 2:9). God and Jesus are one (John 10:30). Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory and precisely represents who God is. He died and rose again, purifying sins and now sits at the right hand of God in heaven (Hebrews 1:3). The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God (Mathew 3:16) on earth. He is sent to us as an Advocate, Helper, and Counselor. He is the Spirit of truth (John 14:16-17).
